Flea Market
We hold an annual flea market each June in the overflow parking lot at Seacliff State Beach. Proceeds from the sale are used for beautification projects including the Mini Park and State Park Garden and our beautification awards.
Garden Parties
Our association maintains two gardens in Seacliff. Funding for plants and improvements come from membership dues and our annual flea market. The gardens are watered, weeded and pruned by volunteers.
State Park Garden
In 1995 the area in front of the shopping center at the corner of State Park Drive and Seacliff Drive was a mess with weeds, dust and trash. The board at that time decided to beautify the area. A member built the retaining walls; then they hauled in dirt and plants were installed.
Mini Park
In the 1970s, the garden was established. Located along Seacliff Drive on a wedge of land overlooking the ocean, the association had to get permission to create this favorite vista point both from State Parks and the County. Most of the land is State Parks, but the small outer area next to the street is County property.

Membership Meetings
“Think Globally, Act Locally” begins at the neighborhood level. The Seacliff Improvement Association has always encouraged members and residents to attend and participate in our quarterly membership meetings. These meetings are always lively events that include important issues affecting our community. Past meetings have included updates from elected officials, local development projects, Seacliff history and projects sponsored by the association.
Annual Picnic
One of our meetings is the annual picnic held at Seacliff State Beach. It is open to all residents of Seacliff and is a time to gather and enjoy each other’s company and terrific potluck dishes!
Annual Dinner
Our autumn meeting is an annual dinner when members gather to celebrate the Seacliff community. A tasty dinner is followed by a fun evening of door prizes contributed by local area merchants, members and craftspeople. Everyone goes home a winner!
